GOLF SANTA PONSA I was opened in 1977, becoming the first golf course in the municipality of Calvià and the second in Mallorca.

Situated on one of the best estates in the municipality with beautiful views of Puig Galatzó, it is a long course of 6.543 meters with 18 holes (Par 72); the 10th hole (Par 5) is one of the longest in Europe with 590 meters.
The course has been host to the European Tour six times with players such as Severiano Ballesteros, Bernard Langer, José Mª Olazábal, Miguel A. Jiménez, Jesper Partnevick, Lee Westwood, Colin Montgomerie, Ian Woosnam, Vijay Singh, etc.
The club is completed by two more courses (GOLF SANTA PONSA II - III) for exclusive use for members.
As well as the course, the player has at his disposal some of the best facilities to improve his game with a driving range of 250 meters in length and 50 positions on grass (covered and open), chipping area and two putting greens.
Inside the Club House, the Restaurant offers a great variety of dishes suitable to all tastes in a relaxed ambiance, also there are a comfortable lounge and terraces beside the pool, providing a delightful space to rest after an enjoyable day´s golf or to sample local gastronomy with fresh delicacies and select menus.
The player also has the possibility to stay in one of the 12 rooms of the exclusive Hotel Golf Santa Ponsa****, in a tranquil family ambiance.
